A glimpse of Chinatown communities around the world: the warmth and resilience of the people who live and work in them, the cultures diluted and newly birthed in the process of survival, and the connection that shared heritage can weave between strangers. On a personal note, it is also an imagining of alternative selves, had my own parents' immigration journey led elsewhere.
